I read all [the] books over the course of 2 days as I just couldn't stop reading. A relatable main character, found family offering unconditional love, a complex fully realised world — and no irritating angst or OTT romance to distract from character and plot. And I don't even want that time back!
This series is my favorite discovery of 2023. I started in KU and halfway through the series I bought them all. Epic, wrenching, wonderful. I will read this series again and again.
This entire series was amazing — a wonderful adventure that pulls you in and makes you feel like you're there. The world building and characters are so engaging they become a part of your world. I will happily and enthusiastically read more of this universe.
